What Is GRP Water Tanks
A GRP water tank, also known as a Glass-Reinforced Plastic water tank or a Fiberglass-Reinforced Plastic (FRP) water tank, is a type of water storage tank made from composite materials. These tanks are constructed using layers of glass fiber reinforcement and a resin matrix, typically polyester or epoxy, which are cured to create a rigid and durable structure. GRP water tanks are designed to store and provide access to clean water for various purposes, including residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural use.
Panels are manufactured at a high tonnage press which molders heated up to 150 oC. Smooth, highly resistant, and cured panels are obtained through high molding and manufacturing technology.
PIPECO INDUSTRIES panels are WRAS approved, which represents the highest global standards. Panels are also tested by TSE, in terms of health and nutrition regulations. GRP Panels are UV stabilized; therefore do not allow algae to grow inside the tank.
